PROJECT Yanks: Illustrated
FORMAT Coffee Table Book
SUMMARY In 1918, the US Army collected poetry written by US servicemen into a book, and distributed it on the front lines as a sort of morale booster. I discovered my great grandfather's copy while working in my grandma's attic - it was badly degraded, but it was signed by him, and was full of postcards from the war. The book has never been reprinted, and the US Army had no interest in the Rights, so I took it upon myself to reprint the book, with additional illustrations to add further life to the poetry.
